Wildhomestay is not for everyone! Please read our warnings page. If you like the outdoors, adventure, cycling, hiking and running, you should have a good time, and we have a very loyal following of guests who visit multiple times per year. If you’re expecting a 5-star resort with a swimming pool, tennis and KTV, we are probably not the place for you to stay in.
The two biggest complaints we get are bug bites and having to carry your own luggage. Our bugs are no different or worse than any other outdoor area in Shanghai or Hangzhou, and we also put a lot of energy into helping manage that situation.
