A fantastic route and what got us started in the Area. Various options.
Below Komoot for option 2.
Route from Jixi – Or get car to pick you up at longgang if too long back

170km | 2 to 3 Climbs with optional steep | Good Road with a bit of gnarly at the end of the down hill of hill 1 and 2. Try the Clean Race Route for a few added steep sections. The the Easy Clean Reverse for a nice 150km or so and not serious steep parts.
There are a few other loops in there. There are also nice routes south to Qiandao Lake.

Daming Epic (from south). All the way from Wildhomestay, 25km to Daming and then onto Tunkou Hotsping. Then up from there all the way to the top – 32km uphill. Then 25km down to the noodle shop in Daming and 25km home. 165km total. Bit more elevation than the classic.

If you want something longer combine with the botanical garden climb or south sanyang route or add it into a trip from Qiandaohu.
If you want something shorter drive to start of Daming and do epic loop from there and drive back:

A drive from the homestay to Qingliangfeng Zhen. Park and cycle from there. A very nice double hill loop.

We normally go counter clockwise. x311 climb up, downhill through red rocks (noodle stop), climb up lake, fast down back to car. 🙂
Another option is out and back but not including lake climb.
Umbrella wha to x311, down other end, around. Add Lake for 200km 3000m.
