17:00 Depart from Shanghai (Requirement: >15ppl sign-up) Gather in Shanghai Gymnasium metro station, exit 3

22:30 Arrival

🚄Train option:

Station:Arrive at Sanyang station (2.5hours from Shanghai), 10 minutes by taxi to Wildhomestay. 

🚗Self drive option:4.5 hours driving from Shanghai

Registration

(1) Eligibility Requirements:

1. The age of participants in the YEPAO Challenge should be between 16 and 65 years old (born between April 13, 1959 and April 13, 2008 inclusive).

2. Participants should be physically healthy, regularly participate in running activities, and have certain experience in trial running. Especially for the long-distance group, the challenge is relatively large, and runners need strong uphill and downhill skills and physical fitness. Runners can choose the appropriate group according to your own physical condition and ability to participate.

3. During the event, personal injury and property loss caused by personal physical condition and other personal reasons shall be the responsibility of the participant. Please make sure that your physical condition can adapt to trail running before you sign up to participate in the challenge event.

(2) Registration Method:

1. YEPAO registration fee:

13km Tea Tasting Group: ¥188/ppl (60 people)

27km Tea Picking Group: ¥288/ppl (40 people)

The registration fee for the YEPAO includes: Saturday mid-race and post-race supplies, personal insurance, logistical support, number bib, finisher badge, and souvenirs.

2. Accommodation and meal bookings: The homestay offers a variety of room types, which can be booked as needed. Saturday’s BBQ dinner needs to be booked separately, and the homestay also provides other food services.

3. Registration and accommodation reservation channels: Search for “野趣乡居wildhomestay” on WeChat Mini Programs/Official Accounts.

4. Refund policy: If the event is postponed or cancelled due to weather reasons, the fee will be refunded in full. If you quit the event within 7 days before departure, the registration fee for the event will not be refundable. Please sign up carefully if you mind.

2023 YEPAO RECAP

2021 Yepao Recap

Extremely pleased this happened all considered and very lucky with the weather, air and everything else. Some serious climbs, some challenging downhills, too much food, not nearly enough photographs, and a great adventure through a well marked course in rural Anhui! Lessons learned, improvements to be made and looking forward to the 2022 Challenge Series. Details to be announced soon.

Very Well done to the challenge and award winners and many thanks to our partners for the great prizes.

2021 Fastest Male: PedroM 4h08m – 27km (new course record)
